General

The Blastronix RS422 8 port Video card is one of the highest performance 4 port Video Cards on the market today. It supports speeds of up to 920K bps on all ports simultaneously. All 4 port units come with 16C954 UART's which feature user configurable 128 byte transmit and receive buffers (FIFO's) to help guard against loss of data in your busy system. 16C954 UART's also can be configured for automatic hardware and software flow control  The driver will automatically assign addresses and IRQ's. The card will share with other 4 port cards or other PCI type cards. The driver will automatically assign the device names beginning at the first available COM port device.  Any existing application software will run transparently with these units.
